TURMERIC POWDER
Method of preparation: The rhizome is milled and
dried without the direct intervention of the solar
rays, then it is refined, packaged and labeled.
The presence of heavy metals and microbiological
contaminants are within the limits established on
the Cuban norm NC 493: 2012 and NC 585: 2015.
The product shows stable characteristics due to
the relatively high levels of salt and the intrinsic
properties of the turmeric powder.
Not harmful microorganisms are able to grow on
the milled product.
When packed, the amount of oxygen contain on
the polypropylene bags, does not favor oxidation.
